Womb Whispers Podcast

Let’s be honest: As a woman or menstruating person in this society, it isn’t exactly easy to grow up with a lot of reverence for your body, nor your cycle.

In this spiritual-feminist podcast about menstrual wisdom and activism for our modern times, I share musings, reflections and conversations to make living as a cyclical being (ALL beings are cyclical, by the way!) in a world set up for linear progress more easeful for you.

Let yourself be inspired to detox from the systems of oppression you’ve most probably internalised, so you can walk the spirals of your life with more confidence and trust in yourself and your gorgeous body and reclaim the superpower and ancient wisdom already stored in your bones!

And no, you don’t need to have a uterus to benefit from this!

Welcome to Womb Whispers, Menstrual Wisdom for Everyday Life!

Hey, hello and a warm welcome to my podcast, which is for you if you’re a womb-bearer, so a woman or a menstruating person – or both – and want to make sense of your cyclical experience in a world set up for linear progress. It’s pretty much about detoxing from or releasing the layers of shame and conditioning, all the societal BS you’ve been indoctrinated with (because we all have), so you can radically trust your body and cycle as powerful allies to navigate life instead.
And to bust a myth: You have a cycle, whether or not you still menstruate and whether or not you actually have physical organs present.

This is just a little introduction for you to get to know me and what to expect from this podcast, so you can decide if you want to stick around and hear more. Which, of course, I hope is the case, so don’t forget to subscribe on your favourite podcasting platform and get informed when I release a new episode.

If we haven’t met before, hi, I’m Lisa, and as a person I’m both an energetic powerhouse, passionate and excited, as much as a gentle and sensitive soul who enjoys holding space for others. I can totally nerd out on coffee or lose myself in techno beats and I’m most definitely your girl if you want to have deep conversations at 1am in the morning about the depths of our shared human experience and the meaning of life!

But I’m also a Menstrual Health Advocate and as a Womb Whisperer and Soul Midwife I help women and people who bleed address the deeper causes of menstrual health challenges like irregular periods, PMS, PMDD, painful bleeds, endometriosis, PCOS or menopausal issues – because yes, for me, menstrual health does include menopausal health – in a holistic and natural way (i.e. without hormones or surgery), so they can stop dreading “that time of the month” and enjoy a happy healthy period or a happy healthy menopause instead.

Here on the podcast, I want to normalise conversations around all things menstrual health and health challenges, menopausal health and health challenges, emotional health and health challenges and the dark and taboo.

So be prepared to go deep and hear the whispers of your own womb stirring. Because I lead a Quiet Revolution that invites you to tune in to your and your body’s own knowing, so you withdraw from the current structures of systematised oppression and erode patriarchy from the inside out!

I firmly believe that you and your cycle have the power to change the world!

So join me for weekly musings, reflections and conversations, sometimes alone, sometimes with a guest, diving deep into menstrual wisdom for our modern times, including shadow work, embodied cyclical living, Earth-based spirituality, intersectional feminism and really anything I believe will help you feel less alone on this journey and walk the spirals of your life with unshakable trust in yourself and your glorious body.

But in fact, this isn’t meant as me pushing content on you, it’s a community project, so get in touch with me if something resonated in you, or even if something didn’t resonate at all and you want to have a conversation around it. I really want to hear about your experience, and you can let me know if you want to learn more about a certain topic or idea I shared. Depending on your flavour, either tag or DM me on social media or send me a good old email – and we might even find time for a virtual cuppa, if that’s more your thing.

I can’t wait for you to become awe-inspired by your own magnificent body and the compass and superpower your cycle really is, so make sure to subscribe to Womb Whispers now!

And just so you know, I’m aware that everything I say comes through the lens of a white, straight, cis-gendered, able-bodied and privileged woman, and I still hope that it will spark a remembrance in you, remembering the power and wisdom already stored in your bones.
